MESSAGE OF THE MONTH.
I want to share some thoughts here, hope you are ready for this.
Joshua 1:1-9
1 Now after the death of Moses the servant of the LORD it
came to pass, that the LORD spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying,
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
5 There shall not any man be able to stand before thee all the days of thy life: as I was with Moses, so I will be with thee: I will not fail thee, nor forsake thee.
6 Be strong and of a good courage: for unto this people shalt thou divide for an inheritance the land, which I sware unto their fathers to give them.
7 Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the
LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
Now this is beautiful.
This month of February is the MONTH OF FOCUS.
That means tier is an instruction of God. He never tells you to do anything, until he knows there is a result coming for it.
He is looking at the result.
So let's take it simply.
The first thing the Lord did was to give Joshua CLARITY OF VISION.
(Joshua 1:2-3)
2 Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel.
3 Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon,
that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses.
He is very clear about the INHERITANCE.
He gets their attention on the inheritance.
Secondly, he is clear about REALM.
You will never be able to do More than what he wants you to but you can do less.
Let's read verse 4.
4 From the wilderness and this Lebanon even unto the great river, the river Euphrates, all the land of the Hittites, and unto the great sea toward the going down of the sun, shall be your coast.
Very definite, very clear as to the portion of the land he has given to them.
The next major thing is his instruction the message.
This is where we coming.
The Lord calls for FOCUS.
This is February 2015, our year of triumph.
The Lord takes us through this extra-ordinary journey a parade.
Verse 7
Only be thou strong and very courageous, that thou mayest observe to do according to all the law, which Moses my servant commanded thee: turn not from it to the right hand or to the left, that thou mayest prosper whithersoever thou goest.
He was very specific here.
Then he said don't TURN TO THE RIGHT OR THE LEFT. STAY FOCUSED ON IT.
That's what he said,
This month you are going to stay focused on the message the Lord has asked me to bring to you. Through out this month stay focused. I love it when God says prove me. Sometimes Christians go looking for solution here there, the more they pray the worse it gets.
This month of February PROVE THE WORD WE BROUGHT TO YOU.
STY FOCUSED.
Read only the books we brought to you, the DVDs.
I GUARANTEE YOU THERE WILL BE A MANIFESTATION OF THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN YOUR LIFE LIKE YOU NEVER THOUGHT POSSIBLE.
THESE MATERIALS THROUGH WHICH WE HAVE BROUGHT YOU, STAY ON IT, READ IT, LISTEN TO IT, DIGEST IT.
STAY FOCUSED, JUST FOR 4 WEEKS.
READ AS MANY AS YOU CAN. DOWNLOAD THEM, GET THE BOOKS, DON'T SAY I HAVE READ IT BEFORE, GO AND READ IT AGAIN.
MAKE YOUR NOTES, STUDY THE SCRIPTURES.
YOU WILL BE SHOCKED AT YOUR OWN LIFE. OTHERS WILL BE ASKING WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU.
Now read verse 8
This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
He was specific.
He knows he is referring to the same message.
1. In order words talk it.
Which means you shouldn't only read it, listen to it, TALK IT.
2. SPEAK ACCORDING TO THE MESSAGE. When you listen to this message, it will give you a language, it will give you a mentality.
Let's read from verse 7-8
8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
9 Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the
LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
TURN NOT FROM IT FROM THE RIGHT HAND TO THE LEFT. THAT YOU MAY PROSPER EVERY WHERE YOU GO.
IT DOESN'T MATTER WHERE YOU GO OR WHAT HAPPENS AROUND YOU.
ANYWHERE YOU O, YOU WILL BE PROSPEROUS.
ITS NOT TOO HARD. JUST GIVE ATTENTION TO THE WORD.
If you will meditate on this message and talk it then though shall have good success.
I usually tell people, Poverty, pain and dejection a lot of times are self made. Failure is not an accident, it is self made.
It doesn't matter what kind of environment you are in, economic, emotional, academic, you will prosper and have good success if you stay focused on this word.
What a life! If you do this, you would have good success.
It tell people I will always be successful, to live in the world, walk in the world.
The THIRD PART of it is in verse 9
Have not I commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the
LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
OH DEAR LORD JESUS!
THIS IS A FORESHADOWING OF THE MINISTRY OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.
it says be strong and of good courage.
You see Joshua didn't have the fellowship with the Holy Ghost, but today we have it. Be strong and Very courageous.
The word "Dismayed" means to be discouraged, agitated, anxious or broken.
I can never be dismayed/ discouraged, because The Lord is with me,
Be strong and Very courageous.
He says don't be dismayed, FOR THE LORD IS WITH THEE WHITHERSOEVER THOU GOEST BECAUSE I AM WITH YOU
SUMMARY.
1. FOCUS ON THE MESSAGE
2. INSTRUCTION - "STAY FOCUSED"
SPEAK ACCORDING TO THE MESSAGE.
BE FAITHFUL TO THE MESSAGE THIS MONTH, IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT YOUR CASE IS , OR THE DUNGEON YOU HAVE BEEN YOU
3. BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS, THROUGH FELLOWSHIP WITH THE HOLY SPIRIT.
THIS MONTH BE FOCUSED ON THE MESSAGE, ON THE VISION.
FOCUS ON YOUR JOB, YOUR BUSINESS, PIT SOME FOCUS AND YOU'D BE SURPRISED AT WHAT MORE YOU CAN ADD, THE PROMOTIONS, THE IDEAS THAT WILL COME TO YOU.
TRY NOT TO DISTRACT YOURSELF THIS MONTH. JUST THIS MONTH.
I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO HEARING YOUR TESTIMONIES.
THIS MONTH IS THE ENRICHMENT OF YOUR PERSONALITY.
ITS NOT THE MONTH OF THE RESULT.
THIS MONTH SOW INTO YOUR SPIRIT AND GET READY FOR AN OUTFLOW.
