SUPERNATURAL: ANGELS PART 1

 

The word supernatural comes from two words SUPER and NATURAL.

SUPER simply means above, extra or beyond.

NATURAL refers to Conforming to the usual or ordinary course of nature.

The supernatural is a realm beyond the natural. (Of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature. As Christians the supernatural is our life style. It is supernaturally natural for the Christian to walk in the supernatural.

16  And without controversy great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, justified in the Spirit, seen of angels, preached unto the Gentiles, believed on in the world, received up into glory.  1 tim 3:16

Great is the mystery of godliness: God was manifest in the flesh, note the bible did not say MANIFESTED IN THE FLESH. Because Jesus once manifested in the flesh and we are now the gods manifesting in the flesh. So the manifestation of God on the earth has not stopped because we are still in the earth. Glory

The journey of life might be very difficult for the natural man but for the supernatural man his going to have a sweet ride. As believers we live in two worlds, the natural and the super natural, but we are of the supernatural so we should function more from the supernatural.

The birds are called birds of the air; do they live all their lives in the air? The answer is no. they come to the ground (most times they are on the ground), but anytime there is danger or they need to make a remarkable progress they fly into the skies. As Christians we’ve not been thought how to switch into the supernatural when danger show up or when we need to make remarkable progress, we are in the world but we are not of this world. So the circumstance of this world does not rule us but rather we rule and dominant the laws and circumstances of this natural world 

Jesus rebuked the troubled wind.

Jesus walked on water.

Jesus opened the blinded eyes.

Jesus made money to come out from the mouth of a fish.

Remember now it is our time to manifest in the flesh, and one of the best ways to walk in the super natural is learn how to put ANGELS to work.

Angels are supernatural beings sent by God to serve the believer.

Even the devil understands the assignment of Angels in the life of a believer. Remember the temptation of Jesus.

9 And he brought him to Jerusalem, and set him on a pinnacle of the temple, and said unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down from hence:

10 For it is written, He shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee:

11 And in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest at any time thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Luke 4:9-11

After the temptation of angels came to minister to Jesus.

 11 Then the devil leaveth him, and, behold, angels came and ministered unto him.

Matt 4:11.

Let’s see the message translation:

11 The Test was over. The Devil left. And in his place, angels! Angels came and took care of Jesus' needs.

Matt 4:11 9(msg)

You see if angels took care of the needs of Jesus they can take care of our needs. These beings are supernaturally strengthened by God to make things happen here on earth.

Before Jesus went to the cross to die for the sin of the world, an angel had to strengthen him.

43 And there appeared an angel unto him from heaven, strengthening him.

Luke 22:43

Remember this appeared shortly after Jesus prayed to the Father “if it be thy will remove this cup from me, never the less not my will but let your will be done”. Immediately an angel showed up to strengthen him to fulfill a task that was almost impossible.

Guys is there anything in your life that looks almost impossible, this teaching is designed by the Spirit of God to make you a success. HAIL !!!!!!!!!!

MINISTRING SPIRITS

14 Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?

Hebrews 1:14 

Ministering spirits there refers to angels.

14 Isn’t it obvious that all angels are sent to help out with those lined up to receive salvation?

This ministering spirits are sent to minster (serve) for them who shall be heirs of salvation. Most Christians thinks it says “sent forth to minister to them who shall be heirs of salvation”.

There is a great difference between ministering for and ministering to. For angels ministering to us is good and scriptural but I prefer angels ministering for me.

For example a pastor of a ministry is invited to preach in another ministry but could not make it then sent one of his associate pastors to go minister for him, meaning that associate will act on the command of the senior pastor, as Christians angels are to minister for us.

A lot of Christians have not put their angels to work because they’ve not come to understand this truth. When we get to heaven we will see a lot of angels that never worked because believers never put them to work.

The bible says these angels are to work for those shall be heirs of salvation. Who are the heirs of salvation?

16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

 17 And if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.

Romans 8:16-17

An heir is a person legally entitled to the property or rank of another person.

Paul got this revelation that we are children of God, and if children then heirs; heirs of God (for me this is enough) but joint heirs with Christ, this is too big my mind to comprehend but my spirit can comprehend it.

If you’ve have operated a joint account before, then you would understand what it means to be joint heirs with Christ. If you are operating a joint account with somebody, you and the person have equal rights to the account, notwithstanding whether the person has 5 million naira in the account and you have just 5 naira in the account; you both have equal access to the money in the account.

And the bible says we are joint heirs we Christ, hahahahahahahah

Meaning everything Jesus have we have, we have equal access to everything Jesus has. Glory to God for ever more (THIS IS TOO BIG). This is one reason I can never be poor.

God told Rev. Kenneth .E. Hagin. That there is an intelligence that wants to stop money from coming into the church, resist those demon spirits in the name of Jesus and tell ministering spirits to go get your money for you.

There are always Angels ready to work for us, remember what Jesus said

53 Don’t you realize that I am able right now to call to my Father, and twelve companies--more, if I want them--of fighting angels would be here, battle-ready?

Matt 26:53

We are Joint heirs with Christ, so if there are angels ready for action only for Jesus to give them permission, these same Angels are also ready for action now only for us to give them permission.

TITHING IN THE NEW TESTAMENT PART 2

 

Good morning friends, we started a series yesterday on the subject of tithing in the New Testament. We saw from Gods word yesterday that tithing came before the law (Abraham and Jacob paid tithe before the law).  Also in the New Testament we are advice to pay tithe.

Today we are going to be unveiling more realities in the area of tithing to you in the New Testament.

AM I CURSED IF I DON’T PAY TITHE?

Most people pay their tithes because they are scared of the devourer; paying of tithe is good but if your reason for paying tithe is because you are scared of the devourer, then you are doing it the wrong way.

 We should not tithe like they did under the law.

We should not tithe as a slavish duty or as a legalistic thing. If you don’t pay your tithe you are not cursed.

Preachers have made this worst they teach from the book of malachi 3:8-11

 8  Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings.

9  Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.

10  Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

11  And I will rebuke the devourer for your sakes, and he shall not destroy the fruits of your ground; neither shall your vine cast her fruit before the time in the field, saith the LORD of hosts.

You must understand that men who lived in the old covenant were spiritually dead men; they needed a law to guide them. 1tim 1:9 says the law is not made for a righteous man. We are no longer under the law the new creation is governed by LOVE and not by the Laws of Moses.

So when you don’t pay your tithe no devourer has the legal right to destroy your fruit, if you see any devourer around you whether sickness, poverty or death is not because you don’t pay your tithe but because the devil is after you and he wants to destroy your joy and you need to resist him with the word.

DO I NEED TO PAY MY TITHE FOR GOD TO BLESS ME?

The ground on which we get bless as Christians is not because we pay tithes but because of the finished work of Jesus. If you want God to bless you because of the tithe you pay, then you are trying to get Gods bless through your works.

It’s the grace of God that makes the blessing of God abound towards us. 2cor8:9

As Christians all the blessing we ever needed has been made available. Eph 1:3

3  Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ:

So God has blessed us with all spiritual blessings, so we are blessed. If you think paying your tithe would make you bless then you have missed it.

When people pray for open heaven I don’t know what they mean. Or pay tithes for God to open the windows of heaven for them. As royalties we live in heaven, we are seated with Christ in heavenly places; so why pray for open heavens.    

SO WHY SHOULD YOU PAY TITHE?

1)      We should pay our tithes because we love God.

2)      We should pay our tithes in obedience to God and his word.

3)      We should pay our tithe for the great commission to be fulfilled. (so that souls can be won). On this issue I will address church pastor and on how I think they should use their ministries tithe on our tomorrow write up.

4)      To support the ministry we are paying into.

Don’t give your tithe out of:-

1)      Guilty

2)      Emotion

3)      Fear of the devourer.
